Yes Jayanand, that particular Picasso wouldn't appeal to me that much - not
that I'd turn it down as a gift! However, there are many people who want to
show they've made their mark on the world by having one, and, in truth, who
could blame them.

We Leica aficionados bought Leica gear because of its reputation as being
the best camera gear in the world, and also, let's face it, because of its
fame, built on that hard won reputation. But is it still the best? That's
now arguable these days, and we're certainly doing that here!.

On Picasso, there's that great Jeffrey Archer anecdote about his house, and
the directions to guests in search of the toilet: 'Turn right at the Picasso
and it's just past the Monet...

For those of you who don't know Jeffrey Archer, then George Oliver Ogle can 
be a useful friend.
