I find it terribly distracting and terribly imprecise. I use the ground glass feature and maximum magnification. Very precise. It has its downsides which i feel the Fuji xf1 compensated for very well. I am satisfied with magnified focusing. However I agree that the GG could be improved substantially. But camera makers are pushing AF which does not require any sort of focusing GG. no incentive to help us .001% dinosaurs.
