I thought the tiny blooms were well modeled with overhead soft light in that nearly 1:1 image. I almost always approach flowers in shady or overcast light, as I've found colors tend to come out truer without highlight bloom. Sometimes, (as in this case,) I came back to them when I could shoot in the shade, as anytime I've photographed Lantana, the colors often go off in high key lighting. Here's a look at my flowers in the past as an example: http://www.sonc.com/friday/index.html The index is not totally up to date, but you can catch up here: http://sonc.com/look/?cat=4 On Fri, Sep 18, 2015 at 4:07 PM, Herbert Kanner <kanner at acm.org> wrote: > Were all those colors on one plant, or more than one?
