That hurt.  It WAS a good idea.....

Back to the idea of getting yours fixed ( and now you have a source that may
do the work) or finding a used one to replace and offer up the old ones'
parts for its Brother.

I still think you are way ahead of where you were... scanner broken and no
repair guy to do the work......

You were using the bulk loader ( aka transparency bulk loader) to do the
work, right?  Not the flat stick you must load with 5 or 6 slides at a time?

Unfortunately, the Braun does not match the Nikon in reviews:
