I would put it on bellows and that was my go-to Macro setup. Jim. The butterfly photos are amazing. That Takumar seems to be a very nice lens. Have you tried it on a bellows? I like the colour rendition of Takumars - not as clinical as Leica and not as cool and calculating as Zeiss. One of my favourite 135s is the Takumar 135/2.5 in M42 mount - comes close behind a Yashica 135/2.8 with CY-mount and a miniscule 135/4 from Voigtl?nder/Rollei which really sparkles.
