The shot of man in the church with the laptop is my favorite because it captures, unfortunately, the zeitgeist. The beer photos made me homesick for the states because I miss having a nice IPA available (plus all of those other choices). Now when I go home and find myself in front of a store's beer cooler I am dumbfounded by so many great beer choices. Beer choices in Baku are meager with Efes being the most prominent choice. At least we can buy some Czech beers in bottles as well as some German wheats. I don't think there has ever been an IPA in Baku. Oh, not true, my wife makes me bring her some in my suitcase when returning from the States! Prism pub is a place where I would enjoy bellying up to the bar. Thanks for the nice tour and photos, Nathan. /matt On Fri, Aug 21, 2015 at 12:55 AM, Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu> wrote: > We got around quite a bit last week, hence a longish blog this time, > including some people pictures from Montreal, a trip back to the place > where we lived until 20 years ago, and several important beery discoveries: > > http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws/?page_id=1455 > > As always, comments and critique are welcome and appreciated. > > Nathan > > Nathan Wajsman > Alicante, Spain > http://www.frozenlight.eu <http://www.frozenlight.eu/> > http:// <http://www.greatpix.eu/>www.greatpix.eu > PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws < > http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws>Blog: http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/ < > http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/> > Cycling: http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/belgiangator < > http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/belgiangator> > YNWA > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
