This is a Cessna 170B from 1954, although the registration shows the original Continental 145hp engine has been replaced with a Lycoming O-360 of 180hp. The pilot, who was certainly older than the airplane, was preflighting the aircraft for a Sunday flight. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/From+the+50s.JPG.html X-E1 with 27mm Pancake Comments and critiques welcomed -- Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA
