Jim is right: The memory is the second thing to go, and I can't remember what was the first. I do remember the name of the restaurant/hotel Plaisence. At the time it was reputed to be the best restaurant in St. Emilion but we stayed pretty close to our temporary home in Listrac-de-Dureze ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Listrac-de-Dur%C3%A8ze) and couldn't seem to fit it in to our schedule. --Bob On Wed, May 6, 2015 at 12:36 PM, Douglas Barry <imra at iol.ie> wrote: > Nice shot Bob, but while it was taken from a high vantage point, it's not > taken from the King's Tower, but instead is taken from the wall/railing > beside the church steeple and the restaurant/hotel now known as the > Hostellerie de Plaisence and is looking down on the Place de l'Eglise > Monolithe where I've had many a pleasant evening over the years.
