Unlike Jim, I love photographing in the middle of crowds. We just had a major temple festival here, the last day of which draws crowds of upward of 750,000 people on four narrow streets, as 63 idols of gods and saints are given a spin around the temple neighbourhood in hand carried palanquins, quite a spectacle. I could not attend this year, but I will be back in the thick of it next year!
