No, I never did try one. I looked at a couple close up and under the hood, 
and certainly have heard and smelt them. To that point there weren't a whole 
lot of positive things to say about it.

I always think of the poor sods that ordered one in 1980 and were told that 
theirs would arrive in 10 year :-). But they probably bought a new VW Golf 
and never looked back.
