The 12504 is shallow and can be used on a pre-asph summilux without vignetting. It is harder to find and a little more delicate, but also can hold a filter as it splits. There's a 12585 that is more robust, and easier to come by, and a nearly identical 12538 that is made of similar plastic to your square one.
