A salty fried meat, rice, beans, and either plantains, yucca, or malanga, fried or stewed. A salad of cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers with oil and vinegar. In very few restaurants there were other choices. We had a total of 4 good meals in the month we were in Cuba. But I would still go back!
