My brother is the pro at Blairowrie and their course is only for the hardy in winter! I am comfortable up to 25C, even if I have something to do. At 30C I want to be in shade, but preferably somewhere else... I find sweating extremely uncomfortable. We are both inevitably acclimatised to our normal life. cheers, Frank >________________________________ > From: Jayanand Govindaraj <jayanand at gmail.com> >To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> >Sent: Tuesday, 17 February 2015, 11:21 >Subject: Re: [Leica] Cold weather in Chicago . . . and some icy views of >Lake Michigan JAYANAND > > >I have the clothes (I have been both into the Arctic and Antarctic >circles), but I feel uncomfortable going around with all that additional >bulk! > >I can play golf in heat and high humidity, wearing gossamer weight linen, >but not in icy weather! > >Cheers >Jayanand > >On Tue, Feb 17, 2015 at 2:10 PM, Philippe <philippe.amard at sfr.fr> wrote: > >> Jayanand, that's the way to go >> >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Phileica/London+2011/The+Old+Buttermarket-1036.jpg.html >> >> And Frank I concur 100% >> >> Now Greg, save some ice for the hot July/August season my friend :-) >> >> Philippe @ Mutz >> >> >> Le 17 f?vr. 2015 ? 09:11, FRANK DERNIE <frank.dernie at btinternet.com> a >> ?crit : >> >> > >> > >> > I always paraphrase the Scottish comedian Billy Connelly who said "if >> you are too cold you chose the wrong clothes today". >> > I don't enjoy the cold, but I have bought and do wear appropriate >> clothing when needed. >> > >> > What I can not tolerate, and have found absolutely no solution for, is >> too hot.
