Why is it so difficult for some of you folks to quickly knock off a couple of images and a title, hit send and it's in the book layout before you go to the toilet for your next pee? BUT YOU CAN BABBLEFEST FOR WEEKS ON END ABOUT DUMB ASS GIZMO'S THAT DO NOTHING BUT CREATE TWINKIE-LIGHT REFLECIONS IN THE EYE OF AN UNDERGROUND GOPHER IN THE HIGH HILLS OF SOMEWHERE IN CHINA? THAT YOU'LL NEVER GET TO EVER GO OR SEE!????? CRICKY! GET A LIFE ABOUT SOMETHING WORTH WHILE FOR A CHANGE! It's a nice book put together for no cost to you showing the world "OUR LUG PHOTOGRAPHY!" I have no idea if other internet type organizations create a book as we do? But I'm going to commit there isn't! I'm sure due to Jim we are the first and most certainly the "BEST WITHOUT QUESTION!" Most of you have absolutely no idea whatsoever the frustrations Jim Shulman went through each year he put our annual book together. He went through hell each year simply because he was and still is so proud of the LUG CREW and what we produce in photographs each year. He hung tough and made it work right into New Year's eve! YEAH THAT'S RIGHT! While many of you were having a wild and woolly New Year's eve PARTYFEST! WHAT WAS JIM DOING????? In case you didn't know? He was sweating his ass off putting the finishing touches to the book and the late comers photos! And it seems some of you are disrespectful enough you're quite ready to put Geoff through the same CRAP! GUESS WHAT?????????? It ain't going to happen! Jim was and is so proud of our LUG book and our overall photo talents he lived through the waiting hours to the seconds as the NEW YEAR time counted down and the presses began to roll within seconds of the New Year beginning! HE LIVED THROUGH THE WAITING HELL while so many of you fiddled about with "what picture should I send?" And 6 weeks later your still wringing your hands and supposedly losing your mind what to send! Those doing this hand wringing illustrate they have no mind in the first place! OR by now you'd all have two photos in the layout already as I have and many others also. As soon as you read this and really would like to grab me by the neck throttling me to silence!!!!!!!!! You wouldn't do that would you? REALLY? YOU WOULD?" ;-) JEEEESH C'MON, get even with me by sending those two photos before 8 a.m. your local time 24 hours from now. Thanks a bunch "CREW"! Yeah I knew you could and would do it. Thanks a bunch. Now a flurry of images between now and Monday morning 8 a.m.! As of today 21 photographers have contributed. Just three contributions so far over the last two weeks. Four weeks remaining to take part. Note that the *last day to send me contributions is December 20,* not December 31. I think that those who get involved will be pleased to see their photos in such good company as already received and the book will be worth owning. However *there is no obligation to purchase at any time.* There should be a cheaper eBook for iPad option for purchase this year as well. This is your book and the requirements and format are exactly the same as for previous editions that Jim compiled for us. *Any camera, any theme, just please send two photos you made in 2014.* Probably five minutes after I open your mail, you will get a layout proof so you can see exactly what your images will look like in our finished book. You are welcome to send any further questions to me as well.
