My M9 was not more in guarantee, the first response from Leica has been that fixing the problem by sensor replacement would be near 2.000 Euro, I have claimed against this and Leica has reacted very kindly, they have invoiced me only the labour, shipping freights and V.A.T., even so the cost has been 560 Euro!. The second aspect, about the delay. My camera was broken the 22 th May, no dropped, that day I was in the Barcelona Opera House in a performance of the ?Die WalK?re? ? and I ask me if the musical waves could have influenced that the filter of the sensor has been detach?. , I?ve delivered the camera to the Spanish Leica Dealer the 25 or 26 May and I?ve accepted the Leica estimate the 18th. June. The Leica dealer said me that this year due to the moving from Solms to Wetzlar all the repairs has suffered a supplementary 30 days of delay. If I consider these points, the real delay has been about 1.5 months. Well, I hope now everything goes well! saludos cordiales Lluis El 04/09/2014, a las 17:42, Tina Manley <tmanley at gmail.com> escribi?: > Every time I have informed Leica repair that I needed a particular camera > or lens by a particular date, they have been excellent at getting it back > to me by the time I need it.
