However, I too sometimes think about the value of shooting so many frames. I understand that a number of different poses are needed, but it seems that given the controlled environment of the studio there is no need to bracket for exposure, so do the models really need 1000 different images from a day's shoot, many of which are very similar? Just wondering. Certainly you would not take this kind of machine-gun approach back in the film days.
