Doug an SSD is not going to solve your drive space challenge though.
You could team up with a fast,big HDD or three though.
My ideal, if I ever get the time for the cloning to move my system is
(separate) SSD's for system and catalog, working projects and (small) for
scratch then you can add as much HDD Terabytes as you like.

I already moved all but 18 months of images to a second HDD from my system
 1TB to the next but pretty clearly the S2 is going to demand more more
more space AND more RAM too. Then there's the backups to consider. My
nominally 10TB in my Drobo is 60% full already.
