I agree your point of view in many aspects and now I?m looking to sell some outfit to go for new stuff and my next target is the Leica Monochrome. I want have back my M9 and Summilux 75 now in Wetzlar, I?m very happy using both. Just some days ago I?ve mounted my Elmarit 21mm in the camera, I find it a very amazing lens for street, I enjoy it even better than the 24mm. About the Noctilux, yes it is an amazing lens, I would be happy with a 1:0, I don?t think I need the 0.95 even to perfect! but IMHO the use of a Nocti for street is limited to a certain kind of pictures and on the street normally what is need is speed and this is not possible or not easy at 1:0. To work at 1.4 I already have the Summilux 50 v2. Agree to try to capture other things, I shall open my eyes. About changing my usual streets, I?m doing this too, but the street life generally is in other areas. At this point I have two points to comment: - Technology: What I?m seeing frequently in Facebook in our days, is more based using new lenses technology advantages than creativity, and IMHO if creativity shall be guided by the new possibilities of new lenses, I think we are in a wrong way, a fake way. - Change the place of work, streets etc?, OK. Many years ago I?ve made my own effort and philosophy to try to discover what is interesting in my city and look to it with eyes as I was a visitor. Now I shall apply this to other places. Thank you very much Bob for your help! Thank you very much Steve too. The only thing I don?t want to go is change my subjects for landscapes, studio ? I like the life.
