Subject: [Leica] Coded or non coded lenses, that is the question

Where did this information come from? I?m not imagining the difference I see
with my uncoded 35 Summicron with and without lens correction?
To check this, I just took zero-range exposures of a blank white space on my
computer screen with the 35, with and without manual lens correction.
Correction produces an obvious reduction in vignetting.
Ditto the old 50 ?lux.
