As a matter of fact, I was just about to post my announcement that the solution had been practically staring me in the face, as an Apple plug adapter (about a 1?cube with its prongs folded) for laptop chargers (interchangeable with a corded plug) was sitting on my table this whole time, literally 2 feet from my face and right in my line of sight for the last 3 days. I was straightening things up 10 minutes ago and about to put it away when I saw that its interface has the same figure-of-8 cross section as the Leica charger cord, and it fits perfectly. Duh! After years of serial Mac laptop consumption by multiple members of my family, I have a dozen of these things lying around. Now one?s in the bag. ?howard On Apr 3, 2014, at 4:34 PM, John McMaster <john at mcmaster.co.nz> wrote: > Not an Apple user?
