His right forearm was twice the size of his left. Amazing player. Probably the best Australia has had (though he never won Wimbledon, he almost certainly would have if the open era had arrived 10 years earlier and he was still competing in finals into his 40's. Hoad was more explosive and Laver perhaps had an edge, but none of them went into a match up with Ken thinking it would be easy. Best backhand and volley I've ever seen (for single hand/wooden racquets) Cheers > On March 21, 2014 at 11:07 PM Jayanand Govindaraj <jayanand at gmail.com> > wrote: > > > Isn't it Rosewall? > Cheers > Jayanand > > On Sat, Mar 22, 2014 at 9:29 AM, afirkin <afirkin at afirkin.com> wrote: > > Rosewell, not Rockwell, you are getting Rod Rocket mixed into it just > > cause > > he's > > from Queensland ;-) Ken would have been old enough to have said it before > > Gary > > Player, but anyway the point is you need to work hard to really > > understand > > your > > craft. > > > > Cheers > > > > Alastair > >> On March 21, 2014 at 7:57 PM Geoff Hopkinson <hopsternew at gmail.com> > >> wrote: > >> > >> > >> Nice sentence not invented by Mr Rockwell of course. > >> > >> > >> Cheers > >> Geoff > >> http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
