The I hated the menu system, as I always abhor them. After a couple days I coaxed a few really nice pictures out of it, I warmed. Then the R adapter arrived and I was able to use my 100 macro. Later, I began to notice that in low light, it was far outperforming my M9. Yesterday, I pulled out my 75 Summarit that I bought out of Australia. I've always kind of liked the lens, but it was better with the M8 than with the M9. Let me tell you it's a really nice tool on this Sony. I'm thinking that with an extension tube, I might be able to leave the heavy 100 macro home. John, Most of my stuff is shot in the 2.8-4 range, even with the Summilux and I've not seen the smearing.
