A different time: - from my first month with my M3 Three especially for Jim Nichols: The tanker was taken with my first SLR, an Asahiflex IIa with waist level and 50mm optical finders, no pentaprism. When the temperature was low, the shutter slit would be uneven, and the mirror wouldn't come back down. I had to unscrew the lens and bring it back down (with my fingernail) between shots. Made for economical shooting. All can be viewed large.
