While you all swelter upside down in the torrid heat of Australia, October in Ireland is not a great month for sashaying around in an itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, yellow polka dot bikini - not that I ever did. Mind you, I agree on the state of the sand at Bray. It was supplemented by tons and tons of gravel during coastal reinforcement work a few years back, and parts of it don't have certain je ne sais quoi any more.
