Jayanand pointed out that Spain was a practically bankrupt country, but an EU funded stream of income is directed a certain select group based in Alicante :-) If I was running a winery in the current bleak economic landscape of Murcia, I'd be delighted all of you! As I, along with a friend of mine, may - wife's health permitting - venture over to meet a friend of mine in Tarbena (about 50k from you) in the spring, these helpful visitors tips are most welcome! Keep them coming! Also they are not particularly exclusive. We bought 18 bottles from them: 12 young Monastrell for ?4.10 a bottle, 4 of an excellent white at a similar price and 2 of another red that was indeed a bit expensive, ?20/bottle. Thanks for looking!
