Steve, I provided all the links that I am aware of
to early example images from A7 and A7r sensors
Using Leica glass.

To my eyes they indicate potential issues at the edges and corners.
I and others have also provided links to discussions of those issues.

Obviously this is all early release information.
As Jayanand pointed out the most "credible" test would be done by you;
Using your own Leica lenses on the A7r.

I look forward to your report;
Along with each and every other report;
As they become available.

I sincerely hope that my concerns regarding corner rendering prove unfounded;
As I'd love to own a body that meets or exceeds Leica M quality at 1/3 the 
price.
