So you get notifications that ?OmniOutliner Pro 4.0 is available!? and when you go to upgrade, it has the be with the most recent OS X available. That would be a no problem, but the iMac is also notoriously not forward compatible. I realize that it is due to better technology, not planned obsolescence, but when I plop down $2,500 for an iMac and it still runs perfectly 6 years later, I have to deregister my software, pack it up in a box, and put it in the closet if I want to use current programs. Even ?Busy Day 2? calendar software wouldn?t run on my older iMac.
