Well, I do mind the price... -----Original Message----- From: lrzeitlin at aol.com Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 6:27 PM To: lug at leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] Ive's Leica Let's see now. If the camera was truly designed in 85 days that's 6 or 7 models and 12 parts a day. Just about one model and two parts per hour allowing time for eating and coffee breaks. That boggles the imagination even for an efficient design firm. More likely the camera was designed during a single three martini lunch. Still it is a nice minimalist design, rather like a Leica M with all the edges and fiddly little parts smoothed off. I might even buy one of the price was reasonable, say $2000. A total of 561 models and nearly 1000 prototype parts were made during the 85 days it took to create this unique, one of a kind camera. http://www.bjp-online.com/british-journal-of-photography/news/2299480/leica-shows-off-one-of-a-kind-apples-jonathan-ive-designed-m-camera#ixzz2hGkRxpgm _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
