The blue halo is probably debt to the closeness of other shapes (trees, fur) 
acting by "visual sympathy" with some slight rest of
blue in the sky.

I had a request for photos of African animals so I've been rescanning some 
from 11 years ago:

All of my Kenya photos are Provia and with either the R6.2 or R8 and, 
usually, the 400/6.8 Telyt.
I don't know what causes the blue halo around the trees behind Leo.  Any 
ideas?  Or how to fix it?
