The last of the decent (though not exotic, such as a Leica or Nikon F6) 35mm cameras were made about fifteen years ago. Even on Craigslist decent film cameras (such as Pentax K1000) are getting to be a scarce sight. Very, very few people on this list regularly shoot film. Regularly to me means about once a week. Film has to be made in very large runs, or else it's not financially feasible. Given the recent price rises in film, I don't know how many tri-x takers will be eager to expose 36 frame for five bucks (before processing). If you think that's bad, consider 36 exposures of Velvia 50 for $12! Sounds like I'll have to start practicing with my FILCA cassettes.
