The place is the first RioTinto mine, in the province of Huelva, in southern Spain. In this moment they still work in two great exploitations, Cerro Colorado and Cerro Salomon, near this abandoned one. The name RioTinto is the one of small river, which gave it to a little village, and later to the actual company.
