Lightroom Also Photo mechanic reads them with no problem. In all cases you need recent editions. I have listed them in this particular order as that is the order which, in my opinion, makes the best job of the files. However for convenience of use for captioning, IPTC data etc. then Lightroom is the obvious choice and makes a pretty decent job. Capture One does an excellent job, it is just a whole different mind set to use it. Obviously you need the later (if not latest) versions of all the programs, and you would notice a staggering difference between LR5 and LR1.
