They are made for black and white. Here's an array of images. <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/gallery/31668596_TQ58Cv#!i=2744948125&k=Xqh5kbj&lb=1&s=A> I liked the juxtaposition of these signs. The owner's family has been on this land for over 100 years - a long time for California. <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/gallery/31668596_TQ58Cv#!i=2744946580&k=DCDVswb&lb=1&s=A> The ladders ascending the side of this grain silo, with its shadow, caught my eye. <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/gallery/31668596_TQ58Cv#!i=2744947444&k=7DX2PMz&lb=1&s=A> A wider silo got two ladders! <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/gallery/31668596_TQ58Cv#!i=2744947643&k=mCCkrtd&lb=1&s=A> I felt badly for this fellow who had to clean inside the silo. The day was only in the 70s at this point but I imagine the interior was stifling. I had to capture this one quickly because the site foreman was grumpy that I was taking pictures of the facility. Perhaps I was a terrorist? Or maybe sending a worker into the silo was a bad idea? No telling. When I told him I was fascinated with the textures, the forms, and the lines of the structures he looked at me as if I were insane. He could have been correct! <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/gallery/31668596_TQ58Cv#!i=2744947913&k=tD2j5hS&lb=1&s=A> I just like the broom and the two ladders along with the deep black of the interior. Printing these will be a challenge, I think. Thanks for looking. All of these were taken with an NEX-7 and its 18-200 lens. Normally I ride with a Leica 35 or 50mm on the body. I couldn't have gotten close enough with either of those. The autofocus isn't great on the Sony camera although the focus assist does work. Sometimes I don't have the luxury (time) to do a good job of focusing so a few of the images are a tad soft. Your comments/criticism would be most welcome.
