Because of this, I ordered Fotodiox adapters for both R and M lenses to use on the X-E1. The R adapter is a perfect fit and works fine. There are no electrical contacts, and none are necessary, because the lens is fully manual. Here is a photo: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Soul+Mates.jpg.html I mated the M adapter to an LTM/M CameraQuest adapter, because all of my rangefinder lenses are LTM. The adapters had to be twisted hard to get full engagement. I have tried a couple of lenses briefly, and all works well, but I'm not sure how I will separate the two adapters if that becomes necessary. Again, there are no electrical contacts. You can search for the adapters at Fotodiox.com Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA On 8/2/2013 6:00 PM, Steve Barbour wrote: > > Sent from my iPhone > Steve Barbour > > On Aug 2, 2013, at 3:48 PM, Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net> wrote: > > Nice!
