I got it a few years ago as a freebie that came along with an Apple computer. I think the price was about $100. It uses six separate ink cartridges. I was surprised at how good the prints are and it will take 8 1/2 wide paper. Anything better from Epson would cost $800, and would have a 13" bed. A friend in England sent me a jpg of a very colorful picture he liked so much that he had more than one commercial outfit print it on fancy paper. Out of sheer mischief, I printed it on 8"1/2 x 11 and mailed it to him. His response was that my print was better than the commercial ones. Herb P.S. I wonder what Epson's reasoning was in making a photo paper of size 8 1/2 x 11 when the corresponding chemical paper (remember those days) was 8 x 10. Now I have tons of empty 8 x 10 boxes, but can't store an untrimmed Epson print in them. Herbert Kanner kanner at acm.org 650-326-8204 Question authority and the authorities will question you.
