Jim,
I really like the iridescent green colours on the bug. The old macro 
performs very well in your hands no matter what the platform.

With the E-1 once more experiencing exposure problems, it was time to adjust 
to the backup system, the Olympus E-510.  I attached the reliable Leica 
Elmarit-R 60mm Macro and walked around the yard.  The images from the 510's 
CMOS sensor are different from those from the E-1, so some adjustments were 
made in post.

We have puffy white clouds today, so the mimosa branches seemed to beckon.

I saw a single honey bee on the Rose of Sharon bush.  This Japanese Beetle, 
however, was making himself very much at home and feasting.
