It's the Canada Day long weekend and the float planes with their rich passengers are starting to arrive. Here is an old Dehavilland beaver flying by - taken with the nikon 300 f4.0 on the D800E and cropped to about half in CS6: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2013/RedBeaverW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/qypsexz And here is a three panel pano showing "four" ferries (actually two) on a sunny day a few days ago: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2013/3Pan4Ferry600w.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/oq5cpos And this is a two panel pano, taken this morning, of the Vancouver / Vancouver Island ferries passing in the fog. Their fog horns echo off the trees: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2013/2PanferryfogW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/o5ztbn2 And lastly - here are the same two ferries passing earlier in the week on a sunny day: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2013/FerriesPassingW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/qhgwlp7 Please look large. C&C always welcome. Cheers Howard (on Pender where the fog is lifting and it looks like it is going to be a glorious sunny weekend)
