I use Steve Barnet's 'thumbie' on my M9/MM and with a heavy lens that works better than the little thumb rest on the M, the latter is far better than nothing though. Battery life does not seem much better in the M, even with minimal EVF, than it is with M9/MM. I still would take the Monochrom out by choice though ;-) john ________________________________________ On Jun 27, 2013, at 4:37 PM, George Lottermoser wrote: > > On Jun 27, 2013, at 4:27 PM, John McMaster wrote: > >> You do George, despite what I said about there being little difference in >> results (for my usage) between the M9 and M I have not shot with the M9 >> in the weeks since the M arrived.... > > I have followed everything you've said about the various camera bodies. > I wonder if you currently see any reason to keep the M9 - other than as > fine backup body? I think I mean to ask this: Does the M9 have any feature, advantage, characteristic, or positive idiosyncrasy that the M did not bring forward?
