You are right, my DMR is still mostly working.  The motor is giving me some 
headaches, but the imaging is still working just fine, and I still have 
manual advance.  So maybe my M8 will not turn to dust after all. ;)

If this is true, a back-of-the-envelope calculation tells me my DMR is 
already toast, it just doesn't look like it yet.
