The poll no-shows are sitting at home, thumbs up their asses watching American Idol... In the last state legislative elections, more people voted for the Democratic representatives (who are more progressive and against the radical changes being made) than for the Republicans (who are rolling back progressive laws whcih have been enacted over many years). The Repuvlicans managed this paradox by gerrymandering districts to isolate the more liberal voters into isolated vote ghettos.
