Tina,

I have been hesitant to mention this one, because I know of no one who has 
used their machines.  But, since you are talking big money for the MacPro, I 
thought you deserved a chance to take a look.

The company I refer to is Velocity Micro, in Richmond, VA.

Their site shows two expensive machines built for videographers.  You might 
talk with them about building something less exotic for your work.
