Will depend on how many options (CPU, RAM) they allow, getting highest speed
CPUs usually near doubled the cost! Will be curious to know if a user is
able/required to open it, only interchangeable bits look to be (possibly)
RAM and the single internal SSD....

only guessing Tina - could be way off.
every new MAC I purchased

First MAC Pro (forget which version)
cost $3500 when it was the "must-have-new-model"
along the way I picked up used laptops
and the current MAC Pro in my office
was purchased a release behind the current "hot machine"
for a little under $2 k - if I remember correctly.
