We just went to the tourist bureau in Lucca and asked about AgriTourismo.
 They have lots of farms to stay on in the area and specials for grape and
olive harvests.  It's a paradise.  You have to be adaptable.  Our apartment
in November will have no heat, but that is not a problem for us.  You are
in the middle of the country and it's a drive to most restaurants, but you
do have a kitchen.  I love to go to the markets and cook myself.

Italy and Portugal and Spain and Greece are all wonderful bargains now.
