They have lots of farms to stay on in the area and specials for grape and olive harvests. It's a paradise. You have to be adaptable. Our apartment in November will have no heat, but that is not a problem for us. You are in the middle of the country and it's a drive to most restaurants, but you do have a kitchen. I love to go to the markets and cook myself. Italy and Portugal and Spain and Greece are all wonderful bargains now.
