Subject: [Leica] IMG: The Bass Player - Jim

Alto and clarinet or baritone are fairly common, but oboe is an unusual one. 
'Begin the Beguine' is of course a classic Arty Shaw number and, although I 
don't know for sure, I would have thought that would have been played on the 
clarinet rather than the oboe.

The long hours of a music career coupled with the constant touring certainly 
take their toll, and I think you probably made a wise decision.
