Very good depiction.  The bird easily stands out in this photo.

I consider the drab species a personal challenge.  The California Towhee is 
common but difficult to photograph well because the bird's coloration 
doesn't stand out in its environment; as I see it the trick is to make the 
foreground and background more drab than the bird so the bird will stand 
out.  What do you think?

technical stuff: R8/DMR, 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R, tripod & blind, a handful of 
seed.  Slight crop, sky in upper left corner filled in with "tree".  All 
comments welcome.
