And it is a strong reason to use LR. Try it first on a limited basis.... It is easy to do, as it allows you to change many images with the same keyword(s) at one time.... select images, put in keyword, push GO and you are done. VERY easy. Keywords and metadata are different animals... and putting in keywords will not affect the metadata nor the use of that info... so how it effects your use of lens corrections is still not fixed. Not sure about editing the metadata data.. At one time I had a program that would allow me to change any metadata info.... basically an editor for the data... But have no idea where I got it. I do remember it was not terribly hard to use, and worked remarkably easily ( after all, it is just data...) Google it as..... Metadata Editor Photography.... there are more than a few programs..... Remember, changing metadata is a one image at a time "occupation".....! SLOW. Frank Filippone Red735i at verizon.net Well for one reason I'd like to be able to pull up all Noctilux images? That's what I'd like to be able to do. If there's an easy way to do it I'd like to do it. There are other images where I use the 100mm APO R lens. I'd like to flag those as well. Once I get the data in the field of a single image I can then sync that to other images that I know were taken with the same lens. I COULD use a keyword, I know that, but the other way seems more elegant. Adam
