The two Leica lenses absolutely outperformed the Canon and NIkon offerings on respective high end offering. If the sensor in an M is not up to snuff then how could the sensor provide off the chart performance for the lenses? Or, DXO is putting a higher value to high ISO performance than I do. Personal preference and I do understand the joy of your minimum ISO is 1600 when shooting offhand.
