However, I did have this problem with a couple of Nikons (D3s & D700) in 2011, at a seminar they put on. I do not mix my D700 and D4 cards these days. But then I mostly use the D4 and my R8DMR. This is during late 2010 and 2011 while I owned both the M8 & M9, perhaps a firmware upgrade has fixed it. Never made sense to me since FAT32 is FAT32 but that's in the past now I guess.
