Yes, and I thought the same. Also thought the same of BagNews's reply to the 
response.

It all speaks to the influence of viewpoint, agenda, memory, the triad of 
work ethic/competence/due diligence (or lack thereof in one or more of 
same), etc. If there is "a" "truth", it probably lies, as with many 
controversies, in the nebulous middle, between the outraged and the 
offended. But in the end, the photo and its caption seriously misrepresented 
reality in more than one critical aspect, and by doing so, won the 
photographer an accolade based on error. Not Lance Armstrong level, but 
equally undeserved rewards.
