It is really not an issue of get close or snipe from the sidelines - I get close, and usually the subjects are quite aware that I am waving a camera around in their vicinity. The other lens I use is a 16-35 f4 on the Nikon, which in crowded streets is a convenient lens to have. As I said before, I really do not find much difference in using the Fuji X system or Nikon DSLR system on streets here, except that the former is lighter and more compact. Against this, the latter has a better sensor in low light, and focuses much faster.
